Caloundra Triathlon - Queensland Tri Series
The Caloundra Sprint Triathlon has been a happy hunting ground for our summer campers over the past few years and Sarah and Max continued the tradition this past weekend. In windy conditions, Sarah collected her first ever category win, whilst Max held true to form with the fastest performance of the day. A great day for athletes and coaches.
Three team members headed over to the Middle East to take on the early season 70.3 Dubai. Another solid showing by Sarah, and although a little disappointed, she takes home another podium with a 3rd place finish.
It was an inspiring 6th place category finish from Ivan who was a little apprehensive before the start after a cold flu bug a couple of weeks prior.
If Taut can find a couple of minutes on the swim to go with his 3rd best bike in his category, he’ll be in the fight for a podium placing.

Torpedo SwimRun and Run ON Philippines
Both Matt and John jumped into local races for scheduled training workouts. Matt enjoyed racing with buoy and paddles in a multi swim/run race for sponsors at home whilst John knocked out a 56min hilly 16k fun run for breakfast in the Philippines.
