Ironman 70.3 Middle East Championships - Bahrain
The final triathlon for 2018 and Sarah, Jeannie and Matt headed to Bahrain for some sizzling fast racing over the half distance.

A magnificent effort by Sarah saw her overcome a puncture on the bike and then unveil a lethal run split, finishing less than a minute behind the leader. Coaches were very proud of her performance crossing the line in second, worthy of a Gold Medal in our eyes...

A super performance by Matt, finishing 5th place and the first non ITU athlete across the line. The Captain gave 100% in a very competitive field.

With not a mountain in sight, Jeannie curiously lined up to take on the fast, flat Bahrain course. Although not suited to her strengths, Jeannie rode faster than ever before and was able to execute a great all round performance, finishing in 6th position.

Well done to everyone!

ATU Sprint Triathlon African Cup - Senegal
Dan arrived in Dakar unfortunately without bike, helmet, shoes or goggles. Not to be thwarted a kind local athlete leant all of the above for race day. Dan did have a great run, but with the turmoil wasn’t able to impact the race not being front group swim and time trialing on the front of his group during the bike. Next stop home, then on to training camp.

Run Run Run
Great job by Mariana, coming off a run stimulus plan and chipping away at her best times at one of her favourite Winter events, the 5k Course Titzé de Noël 2018, Sion.

Michelle toughed out another run race at home in torrential rain, whilst Max and Nini had somewhat warmer conditions as they checked out the new Mudjimba Beach Park Run at our Home of Triathlon base on the Sunshine Coast; Max setting himself another course record in the process.
