“Andres has been my triathlon coach as well as my friend for a couple of years now. I am pleased to be writing this testimonial for him and AZK Peak Performance Coaching. Andres has been with me every step of the way, from surgeries, sicknesses, to peak performances, and life challenges. I appreciate all the support, the phone calls, emails to answers all my questions. He has helped me to finally understand quality over quantity of training is the key; he has coached me from Full Ironman, Half Ironman, Marathons, Trail running, and Swimming.

After doing my first Ironman in 2014, I knew I wanted help improving my time to the next ironman and future races. Andres, skillfully refined my training and pushed me to become a better endurance athlete. I improved one hour and thirty minutes this past Ironman in 2017 and pretty much most of the races I have competed since he started guiding me.

I have found the right coach, Andres is positive, upbeat, reliable, friendly, professional, humble , fast athlete and patient (really patient) his calm counsel has allowed me to train better, race better. He tells me what I need to hear not what I want to hear. There are NOT shortcuts to training and nothing is impossible if you work hard.

“The sky is the limit” to many more races and adventures coach,

Thanks for all you do.

I have been training under the guidance of Andres for the past 3 years. The follow up and expertise of him has tought me many things and a overall what it really takes to be a high performance athlete.
Also taught me how to listen to my body throughought training blocks so I can overcome the most difficult battles and get lots of PR’s. The personalized training plan are really worth it, a quick whatsapp, and a quick follow up by him, makes everything easier.

Andrés has been with me as a coach since I started training for my first Half Ironman distance at the beginning of 2019. As a busy executive and a family man, he has always tailored my training to what I could do, not to what the textbook says I should be doing, or as other athletes are doing.

Andrés has a great level of accessibility, always on the other side of the phone or chat for any questions or doubts that I have.

Since training with Andrés, I’ve been able to achieve my short-term goals in the recent races but more importantly I’ve been able to maintain a healthy lifestyle and a well-balanced life around work, family and training.

Andrés’ experience, not only as a coach but as an athlete, makes him a no brainer when choosing the right coach to meet your needs. He will design a training program tailored to your needs and will be open to answer any questions regarding nutrition, fueling, hydration, recovery, rest, gear and training.

I’m glad I made the decision to team up with him as a coach and I highly recommend him to anyone who’s willing to commit to a better performance in life and in sport.
